Hi there… I’m Frankie 🐾
I was rescued just in time from a kill shelter, and while I don’t think much about the past anymore, my foster family says I’m the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet 💛 They call me “sweet boy” a lot… and honestly, I think it fits.
It’s been a busy few weeks getting ready for my forever home, and I’ve been working hard to show what an easygoing, lovable guy I am. I’m more of a listener than a talker—I don’t feel the need to bark much. I’d rather quietly hang out by your side and take it all in 👀
One of my favorite things? When people scratch behind my ears… I get this dreamy look in my eyes and melt right into you 😌
I’m not bothered by storms or loud noises, and I love being near my people—especially at your feet so you don’t go on any adventures without me 🐕 I also LOVE being outside and following my nose wherever it leads 🌿
I like to be first (who doesn’t?), but I can walk nicely on a leash when it’s time to go 🚶♂️ I ride great in the car too—perfect co-pilot energy 🚗💨
At home, I’m super low maintenance. I am crate trained if you need me in there but at night, I sleep right next to my foster’s bed, happy and content 💤
I know a few commands and am learning more every day—especially when treats are involved 😉 And I’ll gently remind you when it’s dinner time with a little nose nudge (just in case you forget 🍽️).
I do want to share one thing—I'm heartworm positive, but don’t worry ❤️ MLRR is covering my entire treatment with one of their vet partners. For now, I just need to keep my activity to leash walks while I go through treatment, and then I’ll be as good as new! 💪🐾
My dream is simple: a family to love me, take me on walks, and cuddle up with me at the end of the day ❤️
