Cooper

Adopted!

Hi, I’m Cooper! I am 60 pounds of pure love looking for my forever family. Could that be you?

I came to my foster family a couple of weeks ago and I’ve come so far! I’ve put on some much-needed weight and I’m now totally healthy! I’m around 2 years old and full of energy. My favorite thing to do is eat - I mean, who’s isn’t?! But other than that, I also love to run circles around my 6-month-old foster brother. I’m also a really great jumper; I can literally jump 4 feet straight up in the air! Can you say Air Bud?!?!

My human foster brothers play this weird game with a stick and a ball and shoot into a goal. When they’re out practicing, I totally do them a solid and bring the balls back to them. I really like it when they play fetch with the tennis ball, too!

My foster mom says that she’s really impressed with how awesome I am. I love my crate and I go in there right away when she says it’s time to kennel up. I have to admit that I’m a bit of a shoe collector. I don’t chew them or anything, I just wander around grabbing my humans’ slippers and crocks and put them in my crate. I’m also a dream on the leash. I only pull a little bit when I get a good whiff of something and need to move closer. Otherwise, it’s loose leash all the way!

I do have a few things to work on. So far, I know “sit”. The other day I shook my Foster dad’s hand, but still working on that skill. I get a little carried away playing sometimes and jump a little too much, but I’m working on that, too. I also counter surf sometimes - I’m just so curious about what’s up there and forget that I’m not supposed to do that. I am confident I can overcome the few challenges I have with a little patience and consistency.

If you are looking for a four legged someone to be your forever friend, I’d love to meet you and show you how much love I have to give! What do you say?
