Hi, my name is Chiua (Chew-ah) and I am told I am a beautiful black Lab. I love playing, as any 1.5-year-old does; I will play fetch with a tennis ball and get so excited I run around in circles to show everyone how fast I am!
I love all dogs, big and small! I get along quite well with my foster sister, Maya. Sometimes she gets a bit annoying because she wants to play ALL the time, but I am getting better at just ignoring her if I’ve had enough. I haven't met any cats at my foster home, but I probably would get along with them once we were used to each other.
Generally, my day starts and ends with a walk, with a couple in between as well. I would do best with family who loves to walk! I also love to cuddle and to be with my people, so get ready for some snuggle time.
Since I am still a youngster, I am still learning how to act appropriately when I see another dog on a walk. I get so excited I start to pull and bark. But my foster family is working on this with me, and I’m already getting better!
I am still learning all my proper manners but am such a smart boy that I am learning new things every day. If you are willing to take me for walks, pet me, cuddle and play with me, and give me things to chew on, then I will love you forever!
