Hello. I'm Betsy. 💤

I have reached the stage of life where I have perfected the art of doing absolutely nothing, and I'd like you to know I'm very good at it. As a 11 year old girl, I know how to soak up my senior years.

I'm easygoing, like other dogs and cats, but most of all, I like my bed.

I recently discovered toys, which was a lot of excitement for one lifetime. Every so often, inspiration strikes, and I'll play for a full minute before deciding I've exerted quite enough energy for the day and returning to bed.

I may be a little hard of hearing. My foster suspects that some of it is selective. I'll do best with someone patient who can provide a visual cue, gentle touch on the shoulder, or just a moment for me to realize you're talking to me. 

I enjoy a leisurely stroll around the yard (I'm housebroken) to do my business before promptly getting back to my bed for another snooze. I have also been known to get into unauthorized yard adventures if left unsupervised, so my person will need to stay outside with me. 

I take tyroid medication and a few inexpensive pain pills to keep me comfortable and make these years as easy as possible. 

If you're looking for a calm, gentle companion who doesn't need grand adventures, I'm your girl. Give me a soft bed, a loving home, and someone to spend my days beside, and I'll be perfectly content.

I have places to go, people to see, and things to do.
