Hi there! I’m Bella and I’m the chocolate sweetheart you’ve been waiting for. My likes include, following you around the house, laying my head in your lap and wagging my tail to greet you when you come home. Dislikes ... ummm, I’m not sure I have any! My foster mom says I’m the happiest, gentlest, roly-poly ball of love you’ve ever seen.
I’m potty trained, wonderful in the house and get along beautifully with kids and other dogs. I’m a “big boned” gal, and my foster has been working hard to help me slim down a bit. Do you know how hard an extra 15 pounds can be to carry around for a gentle giant like me? My vet says I have a touch of arthritis in my knees, but she also knows if I can lose some weight and continue my joint supplements, I’ll be good to go!
My old owners said they “didn’t want to deal with me anymore”, which broke my heart a little. But I know that humans can be kind, loving and am enjoying spending these cold days cuddled up in front of the fire on a soft dog bed (instead of living outside). If you are looking for a soft, sweet, and friendly teddy bear, I promise that I am just the pup to fill that empty spot in your heart (and on your couch).
