Hello there! My name is Moose and I'm a 3 year old enthusiastic boy ready to find a permanent, loving home. Are you looking for a loyal companion, who loves to explore outdoors, but also wants to snuggle with you? Then look no further!
While I am energetic, my time as a foster has been one of increasing calm and demonstration of my wonderful and smart personality. I respond quickly to voice commands and have a sense of personal boundaries. I get along great with the fur siblings in the house; we all eat, play and nap together without conflict. Foster sis’ Shadow and I now play frequently inside and out and we haven’t knocked anything over or swept a table clean with our tails.
I sleep in my crate, which I enter readily and then sleep through the night. I am in the crate when left alone as I’m a ’surfer dude’ now and then. I also get a little anxious in the car and sometimes bark at other dogs when out walking, but nobody's perfect, right? But, I can promise that I'm respectful of both dogs and humans alike. (I really like humans. You are so cuddly.) I follow commands even when I'm feeling excited, so you can count on me to obey. Once we develop trust I will look to you for guidance and direction. Love and affection are powerful motivators for me. I want you to be as happy and interested as I am!
Being part of a family is very important to me - I have adapted to this new environment quickly. I'm a great listener and always willing to learn!
