Dear Friends,
For nearly 23 years, Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue has made it a mission to save as many unwanted and abandoned Labs as possible. We have had the privilege of uniting countless dogs with their forever families over the years.
As we are a 100% volunteer organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you; the funds you donate go directly toward ensuring our rescued dogs, like Cash and Pyper, receive food, toys, treats and necessary medical care.
Some of the dogs that wind up in our care end up needing more than just the basics, and those costs add up even faster at today’s higher prices. Buck & Ike were chained outside and starving in Kentucky. Luckily MLRR was alerted and stepped in. The two were found to be Heartworm positive, but also suffering from an emotional disorder, locked in a very unhealthy relationship. Six months later, they are Heartworm free and, now separated, beginning the next chapter of their much brighter futures.
Our dedicated network of foster homes and volunteers all play a key role in rescuing dogs from dire situations and prepare them for a better life ahead in their forever homes, but none of this is possible without YOU!
