Hi! My name is Lucy (aka SnugaBug). I am a sweet and affectionate 3-year-old Lab mix. I sometimes think I am a lap dog, because I prefer comfy and cozy over cold floors/concrete.
I moved up here to Chicago from Sunny Florida. My owners decided me and my Husky fur sibling might be too much when the baby came and surrendered me to a foster home. Then the foster home was flooded by Hurricane Sally. I am still a little nervous around new people and not so sure about most men at first. My foster Mom says I have come a long way in the month she’s had me. I love to go on playdates with other dogs and find more confidence with a fur friend/sibling. I haven’t had feline siblings but I am VERY curious about them! I also get along well with kids.
When I am at home I don’t need a crate, just a comfy couch or bed. When you are gone I may sneak a shoe or two to snuggle but I don’t eat them. I love to snuggle and give kisses and am always really excited to see you when you come home. I enjoy walks and take my time smelling. I also enjoy car rides and chasing squirrels and rabbits.
My Foster Mom says I am sweet, gentle, and very well behaved. Could I be your forever dog?
