Hey everyone, my name is Ike. I’m a pretty mellow guy, and a bit on the shy side, but I would LOVE to find my forever home where I can finally settle down.
This last year has been too busy for me - I much prefer calm, quiet, and consistent. Though it takes me a bit to adjust to lots of changes, I am grateful to not be chained up outside any longer!
I’m a quiet guy and not terribly fond of loud noises or busy traffic, but I also don’t make a lot of noise or fuss, either. My foster dad says he’s never even heard me bark! I don’t ever jump up on the furniture, I’m very good in my crate, and have not had any accidents at my foster home. I love going on walks, and I really like other dogs (so don’t be surprised if you hear me whimper a little when I see another dog I might want to meet). To be honest, though, I will probably be at my best in a home that does not have any other pets, at least until I am settled into a new space and routine.
So, if you're a bit of introvert like me, we'll probably get along perfectly!
