Adopted!
Hi! I'm Simba and I'm a GORGEOUS 5-year-old fox red lab. At 86 pounds, I'm the biggest lap dog you'll ever meet! My foster mom thinks I'm made of velcro, because I love to snuggle and be with my people all the time.
I don't mean to brag, but I'm super smart and well behaved. I've got a crate, but I have proved that I can be trusted in the house alone for short periods of time. Walks are my favorite because I get to sniff EVERYTHING! I am pretty good on leash and enjoy walks with dog friends, but I am still learning how best to play with others.
I don’t run like a young pup anymore; I have suffered some CCL trauma in my rear legs (similar to ACL). But joint supplements and weight management to keep me healthy has been doing wonders for me so far!
As with many rescue dogs, I have some anxieties that I am still dealing with. I think I just need a little extra time, patience, and training (especially around men) so that I can become the very happy dog I was meant to be!
