Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My foster family is always saying what a pretty girl I am – but I try not to let that go to my head. Seriously, though, just look at my picture - I'm so pretty, right?

I love to run and my long legs have me running fast! I love to chase Frisbees, birds, balls and anything that will "run away" from me. I live with foster cats and I like to give them a bath when they rub up against me. I really like belly rubs, head scratches and snuggling! Basically, I love any attention I can beg, borrow or steal from my foster family.

So what don't I like? Well, the crate! But I will run into the crate so fast when my foster family gets the "bath leash" out. I might be a lab but baths, no thanks! I'm also not too fond of car rides - I move around a lot inside the car.

Good news! I am quick to learn and I do not need many reminders. In fact, sometimes all it takes is a look from my foster mom or dad to remind that whatever I'm thinking about doing is something they have told me not to (i.e. like eat the foster cats' food - I know, gross, dog food is way better but what can I say, I have an adventurous palette)!

If you looking for an energetic young lady who also likes to snuggle then I am the girl for you! Waiting for her forever family - could it be with you?

Hi everyone! My name is Jamie and I must be a pretty great dog because my foster mom says I’m the easiest foster she has ever had. And she’s had a lot, too! She always looks into my eyes and says “you’re the best” and then she kisses me on my head. What can I say? So let me tell you a little about myself. Well, if you took a look at my underside, you can see that I’ve had a couple litters of pups. I had a litter just before MLRR took me in so I will need to be spayed. I also was heartworm positive when MLRR saved me. I finished my heartworm treatments May 22 and now I’m off any exercise restriction. The exercise restriction was no big deal for me because I don’t really run around the yard. I love just sitting outside and looking around so I'd love to find a family with a fenced yard.

I think I’m about 4 years old and I weigh 52 pounds so I’m not too little, I'm not too big but I'm just right! I’m great with kids and adults. Just two weeks ago, I was sitting on the floor getting pets from a toddler. He just loved petting me and I just loved him petting me. Getting petted is the best thing! I’m really very quiet and shy inside but I do come alive when I get to go for walks. I’m a bit of a puller on the leash so I need someone to work with me on that. You know there’s a lot of smells out there that need to be inspected, and I’m a good inspector!

I don’t need to be crated and I have not had any accidents in the house. I don’t jump up on people. I’m really not a barker, but every once and awhile, I do need to express my opinion. All my foster mom has to do is say “Jamie” in a deep voice and then I keep my opinions to myself! Sometimes I’m a little afraid to walk on hardwood floors and it might take a while but I figure it out. Speaking of being afraid, I really don’t like thunder or loud sounds like firecrackers. When I hear them I just shake, really shake. I’ve never tried a thunder shirt but maybe that would help me.

If you’re looking for a big, boisterous, rough-and-tumble kind of dog - I’m not the girl for you. I had been through some hard times when I met my foster family. I had a thin and patchy dull coat and really needed some food. Despite my upsetting past I never took it out on my foster family, especially my 2-year-old human foster sister. I am very patient with her and let her grab my face or look at my teeth whenever she wants. I'm such a good girl!

I already know a few things - sit, shake and how to potty outside. In fact, if you ever stop petting me (please don't), I will offer you my paw to remind you I still need more pets. I am an extremely sweet angel, as my foster mom says, who deserves some TLC and never-ending head scratches and sweet voices.

Sometimes when people come to the door I do a low growl, but I mean no harm. I am simply alerting my foster family of new arrivals and will greet you sweetly and calmly so long as you treat me the same way. I am comfortable with loud household noises but if I hear anyone speak in an upsetting manor (yelling or loud talking), I need to go to a safe place away from it. I hate getting in trouble so I try my very hardest to never be the trouble maker.

I am not a chewer, which is good news! But, I do not understand how to play with toys so maybe you can help me with that. I do, however, enjoy a good run! I really like other dogs and playing chase with them. I am learning how to walk on a leash but I do get excited and pull because there are so many things to smell and explore in this world.

I would really enjoy a family with another dog, and would do well with children of any age. I just require everyone give me a lot of attention with sweet calming voices (although my human foster sister is very loud and screams and that is OK). Oh, and let's please not forget the pets. My name is Cisco and I'm just a lovable cowboy looking for my perfect forever home. I'm about a year old so I've still got some of that puppy energy in me. Ok, a lot of that puppy energy in me! I'm a ruggedly handsome black lab mix with what my foster mom says is a pretty patch of white with black mixed in on my chest. Ugh, I hate it when she calls me pretty!

So I'm kind of a rough-and-tumble dog who has been through some hard times. You see, I was found as a stray way back in January and I lived at the shelter that took me in until mid May. I was sprung free for all of two weeks before I was surrendered to MLRR. And in those two weeks that I lived with someone, I really lived outside in a pen day and night. That totally sucks, right?

The good news is my foster family has given me a great home so far. My foster family has invested so much time and energy into helping me learn how to be a good dog and act appropriately inside a house. I have mastered sit, down, go to your crate, shake/give me paw, give me a high five and roll over! I am so smart and very treat motivated! I also know go to your spot (which is a dog bed) and I can even stay on my spot for a short time. I will sometimes protest when told to go to my spot but, you know what, I always go to my spot because treats are my favorite and I know I'll be rewarded for doing the right thing! I'm a work-in-progress when it comes to off (as in off the counter - my foster mom says paws belong on the floor but I've been testing that rule to see if she really means it). I'm also working on leave it - I am a pro at leave it when there is a treat in front of my face but when told to leave it without a treat involved (i.e. leave those socks in the laundry basket), I tend not to listen. I know, I know - I should totally listen and I do know right from wrong! But remember how I said I really haven't lived inside a house and I've spent most of the year in a shelter? Can you blame me for testing the rules and the humans' patience?

Bonus! I am totally housebroken!! I have not had one accident at my foster family's home. If I need to go outside, I go by the door. If you don't get my hint, I will bark and let you know "hey, I need to go do my business, please!"

I really like the company of other dogs but I do sometimes get overexcited and I don't always listen to their cues when they tell me I need to chill out. I live with two dog sisters - one who is just a year older than me (we've become good friends after getting off on the wrong paw) and another who is a senior MLRR alum (she can be a bit of a nervous Nellie and I admit I like to push her buttons). I'm working on my manners and I am not at all aggressive with other dogs - I just sometimes get overexcited! I just don't understand why my fur sisters don't always want to play with me!! I would do best with dogs who are assertive and know when to say "Cisco, cut it out already!"

I love toys that I can play tug with - my foster family says make sure they have a really long rope because I sometimes get overzealous in trying to grab the toy and might accidentally get you (even though I am not trying to hurt you, honest)! I also LOVE toys that squeak!! OMG - I HAVE TO RIP THAT SQUEAKER OUT! I love to destuff toys also - it is SOOO much fun. And if you give me treat-stuffed Kongs, OMG, I will give you so many kisses!!!

My foster mom works from home so I haven't really been left alone for long. I go to my crate when the humans do need to leave because I get into trouble when I'm bored. If you work in an office, doggie day care could be a great option because I could go and burn off my energy while learning how to interact with other dogs! My foster mom says I would do well with a family or a single person but whoever I wind up with needs to be committed to taking care of me and working on my training every day. And when I say every day, I really mean every day! My foster family spends a lot of time with me every single day working on my training and believe me when I say that I've come a long way in just a short amount of time!! Training and love really do work!

So here's the deal. I promise to love you for life if you promise to really invest the time and energy (and love) that I need. It's me, Orla, with great news - I am available for adoption!! Let me tell you about myself. I'm your golden princess - no kidding, that's what my name means! I was adopted out back in summer 2018 but then came back to MLRR at the beginning of this summer. I was returned for being aggressive but I really have fear-based aggression. Basically, it means that I have a lot of anxieties and when I get scared, I react inappropriately. But I have been working with an amazing behaviorist and a positive, force-free trainer for the past few months. And good news - I've come a really long way since my foster family brought me home back in June. Believe me when I say that on medications, I am a totally different dog! In fact, I've become quite calm, cool and collected in my foster home.

My foster home is kind of chaotic so it was a big and scary adjustment for me. I live with three teenagers, a dog named Eva and MLRR alums Jack the puppy and Ella the senior. Jack, aka Blackjack, is my BFF, although he's pretty much your typical annoying little brother. He's always trying to get me to play and jumping on me when I'm trying to relax. I'm very good with him, though my foster parents say I really should put him in his place sometimes. It's okay, he's cute and silly and he just cracks me up! While I live with three other dogs, I really think I should be an only dog or at least only live with one other dog. I had some issues initially with Ella when I arrived. My behaviorist said it was because I was pretty scared and also was resource-guarding my foster parents. I also was exhibiting a lot of attention-seeking behaviors - jumping up for attention and being a bit obnoxious about it. But now I'm learning to keep my paws on the floor, and my foster family is constantly putting deposits in my "trust" account when they train me so that is pretty cool. I know they would never let anything bad happen to me. And they would never use aversive training techniques, which really only heighten my fears and make them so much worse.

The trainer who has been working with me has taught my foster family a lot of counter-conditioning techniques to help me overcome my fears and instead replace those negative thoughts with positive associations. Counter-conditioning is really key for a dog like me. I don't know why I get so scared sometimes, but I do.

I LOVE my crate - it is my safe spot! My crate is so very nice and cozy with extra pillows and blankets. It's the perfect spot for me to go chill when people come over. I'm sometimes ok with visitors but after a little while, I get overwhelmed and I start to melt down so it's best for me to keep visits short and sweet, or just let me hang out in my crate with a treat-stuffed Kong or another special toy. I really LOVE, LOVE, LOVE walks around the neighborhood! I used to sometimes get a little scared to go on walks but I've made some human friends - when I see them in the distance, I get super excited and I can't help but run up to them and shower them with kisses! I don't like it when the teenagers have to go to school so I'm not allowed to go on walks when they are walking to the bus because I cry and try to go to school with them! I would do best with older kids, if any, because I do startle and younger kids might not understand how to handle a dog like me who gets scared easily.

When I'm happy, I make this funny little smile. Actually, it's not such a little smile - it's a big, huge grin! And I also like to stand on my hind legs and wave my paws hello at you. I know some basic commands but you'll need to start over on training with me - I need deposits in my "trust" account! I know sit, come, down, shake, stay and off. I am learning how to "touch," or hand target. I sit and wait for my food. Sometimes, I'll even give you my paw first while waiting for you to put my food bowl down.

I really like my foster family but I'm looking for a special forever home. I would prefer a quieter home - I don't really care about being the life of the party, if you know what I mean! I know I probably sound like I'm high maintenance - my medications and continued training as well as visits with the behaviorist are not optional. My name is Sunny, or as my foster mom calls me, Little Miss Sunshine! I am a happy and sweet girl, about 5-6 years old. I’m a Lab mix, and I’ve got the cutest “freckles” on parts of my coat. Everyone tells me how pretty I am! My M.O. is that I love people: big people, little people, girl people and boy people! However, I'm not so keen on dogs. You see, I actually have some anxiety around other dogs and don’t quite know how to interact with them. So I prefer to just avoid them altogether, and hang out with my people. Oh how I love people! I also love to snuggle and play catch. I am very well behaved, I have all of my basic manners, and I do not counter surf, dig in the garbage or have other bad habits in the house. I'm even crate trained! I'm not afraid of fireworks, thunder or other loud noises. It's really just other doggies that I get anxious about. But I have found some medication that helps me with my anxiety, and that's no big deal; it's just like when people take medication to manage their issues! My foster mom has also been working on some training with me to help me better manage my anxiety when I do come across other dogs. So for me, my perfect forever home would have a big fenced in yard where I can play catch, run around and sniff, be with my people, and not be with other doggies or kitties.

I've been with MLRR for quite some time. See, when they pulled me from the shelter where I went after I was found on the streets, I was really sick; I had pneumonia but I’m all better now. Oh, and I was pregnant! I had a litter of 11 puppies while under MLRR’s care, and they all got great forever homes! MLRR has been so good to me and helped me with all of my issues. They can't believe how incredibly sweet I am after all the things that haven't gone so well in my short life. But it’s time now for me to move on, so MLRR can help save another Labbie. I’d love to meet you and show you just how sweet I am. I am a very cute black lab mix puppy who loves people and other dogs. I love to cuddle and give lots of kisses too. I live here with my foster mom and dad, two doggie fur sisters, and a foster human brother and sister home from college. We are all getting along well. There are two cats here too, but my foster mom says I am a little too interested in them. Huh? What does that mean? I mean really they are furry and they move, of course I am interested!

I like going on walks, however my foster mom says I need a little more leash training, I still pull a little bit, but she says I listen well and will learn fast if you take me to a few classes, after all I am pretty smart. I know how to sit, lay down, and come. I am working hard on wait and off. I rarely jump, but if I do, off is the word my foster mom is helping me understand. My potty training has come a long way, and I am just about there. I sleep quietly all night snuggled in bed with my family or on a doggie bed in the room with my pack. Christmas eve we had a house full of company and my foster mom said I was very good. I did not jump on anyone or beg for food!

I like to lay on couches or beds, so I hope you will let me do that. I am not crazy about the crate, but I will go in there when I need to and sleep or chew a bone like a good girl, I just prefer to be home with people. I absolutely love to chew bones, bully sticks are my new favorite! I am a puppy so chewing bones is important. I also like cookies when its treat time. I really love being in the same room with people and I will follow you around the house. I get really good food here and I eat nicely with my fur sisters. I am still pretty young and I have some energy, I love to run around the back yard and chase squirrels with my fur sisters - we love to play and chase each other around the yard. Tennis balls and toys have not interested me too much, except the soft fluffy toys, I like them.

I would love a family who would walk me, and has a nice yard for me to run and play in. I will benefit from someone who takes the time to continue my training, and I will reward you with kisses and cuddles. I promise to be a good girl and become your best friend, and I know you will love my sweet and loving personality. Plus I am just adorable! My foster family loves me and I love them, but it is time for me to find a forever family. I really hope I find one that likes kisses and snuggles and spending lots of time with me. I live with 2 lab foster-sisters, I play nice with them, not rough at all. I am a quick learner to the routine around here as Foster Mom and Dad go to work every day. I enjoy treats and can take them ever so softly from your hand. Still, I love dogs and enjoy playing with them.

So far I’ve mastered Sit, and I’m learning Off to work on my counter-surfing habit. I’ve been told I’m really good on-leash, especially for a puppy. My foster mommy says I’m really smart and a fast learner. She thinks that’s the Lab in me—give me a treat and I’ll do anything you want! I’ve gotten used to a routine: long walks in the morning and at night, and for fun I go to the local dog park and play with a bunch of dogs there. All that fresh air and exercise tires me out, so I take long naps when I get home, which is good because it keeps me out of trouble. I snuggle in bed all night long without so much as a peep, but I need to go potty right away when I wake up. I’m pretty proud of my potty skills—I go right away on walks and don’t mess around!

I got to go to the woods with my foster dad, and I found my first deer antler! More than anything, I like being with my family. I follow my foster mommy and daddy everywhere, and I hope I’ll be able to continue that with my forever family. I’m Heidi and I’m the girl you’ve been waiting for. I mean, who doesn’t want a petite, chocolate love in their life? So what if I have a few grey “whiskers” on my snout? Trust me…there’s plenty of spunk left in this 9-year old body of mine. I’m pretty proud that I can scale a 4-5 foot fence like it’s nothing. So if you don’t want to see me running down the block, you should probably have a 6-foot fence. Not that a fence is required to love me, but then I have to be on a leash and harness to keep me safe. Oh and don’t get me wrong…I LOVE to snuggle and give kisses. And body massages…I love those too! Chill time is my faaavvvooorritte!
So you’re probably wondering why I don’t have a family to call my own. Yep, that’s been disappointing. I was saved by MLRR years ago and they found me a great home, but when my family decided to move away, they decided it was without me. Ugh! So what if I don’t want to share my family with other dogs…a girl can be selfish, right? I honestly don’t know why I have an out of body experience when I see dogs. True, it’s not very becoming of a petite lady, but I just need a family to embrace this charm. Just think, having me as your only fur-child just means that you get all my love…no need to share.
Did I mention how soft I am? I mean, my fur is ridiculous! So here’s the deal…I promise to love you forever, and snuggle a ton, give lots of kisses, play nicely with my toys and not potty in the house if you promise to keep other dogs away from me. I think that’s a fair arrangement, don’t you? The peeps at MLRR said that if you’re super interested in me, they’d do what’s called a foster to adopt. That basically means that you love me for two weeks and if we like each other, you’ll make it official and adopt me. If you think it’s not a good fit, you’ll let me hang with you until I can find another perfect home. I’m not worried though. I just know the second you meet me, you’ll see how perfect I am. I am a handsome yellow-brownish Labrador mix. At about 14 months old, I am tall and lean, but still a puppy at heart. I currently live with a 7-year-old foster brother and foster parents. I don’t live with any children right now, but my foster parents think I would be good with kids.

Well, gosh…where to start. I am a sweet, loveable dog. I know, that’s a given. I absolutely love to be the center of attention. Wherever you are, there I am. You turn around...yup, there’s Browning. Who knows what you could be doing without me. I don’t mind sitting next to you on the floor or couch, snuggling in next to you. You want kisses? I have plenty of those to give!

And like every dog, I like the outdoors, running and being chased. I am also a good ball player, both inside and outside, running for the ball, and bringing it back. I do struggle with the “drop” though. But that is nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a treat! Did I mention I am a compassionate and loving dog, and try to spread the joy to other dogs? Yes, I can get a little zealous in my meet and greet, and have been known to run and jump into them, and nuzzle them to an extreme. I guess I still need to work on my dog manners. I think I might have pointed out I’m still a good-natured puppy at heart. Lucky for me, my foster family likes structure and is working on making me a better dog.

My foster dad has taken me for car rides, and I do pretty well. I jump right in his big SUV. I get the entire back area to walk around in but I sit down and relax when I get bored. And we get to go on walks each day. I don’t think I have had a lot of leash walking experience in my past, and while my initial walks on the leash were a little rough, I have made progress. I don’t do much barking, really only when there is something to bark at…like dogs walking by the house, or seeing a skunk or raccoon in the back yard. That’s when I get really excited, and dash (oh yes, I can dash) to the door. My foster parents are working on commands. “Come” is hard for me, but I am doing better, especially when treats are involved in my training, so I am pretty sure with some work (and a lot of treats), I will become an expert in dog manners! Other cool things about me - I have been known to nap while sleeping on my back, with my legs in the air. I know it sounds silly, but it is soooo comfortable. I also love belly rubs, so don’t be shy - just give me a bunch of love and rubbing. Like every dog, I like squeaky toys, but I also enjoy pulling them apart and getting into that fluffy stuffing inside - so much fun! I love a good chew bone, all kinds. Don’t worry - my foster parents say I have had no interest in shoes or socks. I also get pretty excited when its mealtime. I just really like food! And when it comes to bedtime, I will crawl up in your bed and snuggle right next to you. I really don’t want to sleep alone - please don’t make me. I also have expert hearing, and when I hear bumps in the night, I will let you know, too, by staying alert when something sounds out of the ordinary.

So that’s my story…what do you think? As an “almost” adult, I still have a lot of puppy playfulness in me. All I need is some love and guidance, a little training, and a family to call my own. I think I am a pretty good catch, and would make some family a great canine companion. I am available immediately for forever home dates! It's Coco and Lexi here and we are looking for our forever home. We are a bonded Chocolate Lab pair and we just LOVE each other so much so we really want to go home together. We haven't had the best start in life - until MLRR rescued us, we spent our entire lives chained up outside and were used for breeding. But we are just two sweet (and beautiful) Labs who only want attention and love.

Since we have only lived inside a house for just a few weeks, everything inside - eating out of a bowl, regular meals, treats, toys, leashes, kennels, stairs, doors, you name it - is pretty new to us. It's true - we need to be trained. But we only want to please and our foster mom says we are sweet to the core. Guess what? We both LOVE riding in the car, and Coco could drive around for hours with the window rolled down. We also love music and really love it when our foster momma sings to us (even though she can't really sing but don't tell her that we said that).

Okay, Coco here to tell you more about me. I will willingly go into my crate and am happy with a bully stick to chew on. I've never really had toys before so I don't quite know what to do with them. Maybe you could teach me? I am a graceful and fast runner, though! I do love to run around the yard at my foster home but I can jump a 4-foot-tall fence so be careful. I immediately come when called, even if there is a rabbit or squirrel trying to tempt me with a game of chase. It's true that I am a bigger boy but I am extremely gentle with people, even little kids. I will quietly and calmly stand for as long as you want to pet me because I'm a cuddler at heart - I want as much petting and loving as you can give!

My turn! Lexi here. I also willingly go into my crate with a little treat thrown on my bed. I'm a gorgeous girl and I LOVE to have my thick, beautiful ears stroked. In fact, I will put my head right in your lap while you pet me. I'm kind of intimidated about being outside and I never leave my foster mom's side except to run once in a while with Coco. I am learning to go potty outside and I still have accidents in my kennel so you should probably make sure I have done my business outside first. I'm great with people but timid when in a large group.

So what do you say? We think you need a double dose of Chocolate love! My name is Penny and I am a sweet, beautiful 5-year-old black Lab who was rescued by MLRR after the only family I had every known had no time for me anymore. I was really anxious and timid at first when I came to my foster home but my foster mom says I'm finally starting to act like a normal Lab with her happy face on all the time.

I currently live with two foster fur sisters - a senior MLRR rescue and an almost 3-year-old mixed breed who I just love to play with. I love to get really wound up playing with my foster sisters but then I settle down really nicely. Sometimes I like to run around and around in a circle when I get excited playing. I also love it when you chase me. When I want to play, I will bark at you and get a toy. That is your cue to start chasing me, of course. I love to run after my toys - my foster family says I bound and leap when I run. I pretty much love any kind of toy. When I'm not having fun playing, I am usually found on the couch sleeping or looking out the window at all the activity outside.

I'm housebroken but my cue to go outside is to bark at you so if it doesn't seem like I want to play, know you need to take me outside instead! I have a weird quirk - I do NOT like to walk on wet grass. I would rather go potty on the sidewalk, in the rock garden or on the deck (but my foster mom keeps telling me that is not an option). My foster mom thinks I'm weird about walking on grass sometimes because I have some allergies. I'm also allergic to chicken so do not feed me any chicken, poultry or egg products, please! I require a limited ingredient diet and lots of treats but remember, read those labels!! I don't really talk much about what life was like in my first home but I do have an old injury on my front leg that was never treated so my leg looks a little strange. Sometimes, I do favor it but I have pain medications for days when it is bothering me more than others. Don't worry - I can get around just fine and I've learned to live with my leg as it is.

I am crate trained but I'm really well behaved (though I do have a habit of raiding the recycling bin). I'm really not left home alone very often because my foster mom works from home. At my first home, I was left home alone for hours and hours, though. I love it when my foster family gives me a Kong stuffed with frozen yogurt before they go out. It keeps me so busy and occupied in my crate. At night, I start out in my crate. My foster parents leave the side door open and sometimes I come out and sleep on one of the dog beds in the bedroom, either by myself or with one of my foster fur sisters.

Ok, I need to be honest with you. My foster mom thinks that I'm the kind of dog who will need some time to adjust to my forever home - honestly, it took me a couple weeks in my foster home before I finally let anyone else pet me without having to have my foster mom right by my side. My foster moms think I am super smart and will learn all sorts of new commands in my forever home. I currently live with MLRR alum Annie and a crazy little Chihuahua. My foster moms take me for lots of walks and I love meeting other neighbors- they all comment on how gorgeous I am and my good manners. With other dogs, I try to contain my excitement but sometimes it gets the best of me and I barge right up to them which is often not appreciated. Come on, aren't I just the cutest dog you've seen? Check out my beautiful eyes and coloring. People are always stopping my foster mom to pet me and compliment me on my good looks. When they do, I roll over and give them my paw hoping for a belly rub. Yes, I know rather shameless of me but I LOVE the attention. My brother Scotch and I were owner surrendered through no fault of ours, I may add, and the kind people at MLRR are making sure we get the love and care we deserve in our new forever homes.

I live with a foster mom and dad and their MLRR alumni dog and let me say, when I arrived, it was a love fest all around. My new foster sibling is kind of old so he doesn't play as much as I would want, but we hang happily together and share everything. I've adjusted easily to my "new" home and routine. Someone at my last home didn't allow me on the couch, so I simply place my paws and head on any human laps when they are sitting down. That way, I get the most pets and kisses! When the humans go to work, I go quietly into my crate, where there are always a few treats or a yummy chew toy. And when they get home, we go on the BEST walks! I don't remember if I ever walked with a leash, but I learned quickly. Now, I trot along with my tail wagging and only pull if a squirrel looks at me funny.

I will brag a bit… I already know how to sit, stay, down, wait, come, etc. Basically, I am a rock star when it comes to training. I am always looking at my foster parents for direction and am very intuitive. Here's an example. When I arrived here, it was raining and so my foster mom led me through the garage to wipe my paws. I sat quietly and let her tidy me up. Now, when I come in from the backyard any time, I sit patiently by the garage door because that's how it works around here! Yes, I am a rule follower. My foster family has been waiting for me to counter surf, grab a sock, chew a table leg, bark a lot, but that is not how I roll.
