Hi there, my name's Bill! Have you and your family been wondering where all the good dogs are? Well, here I am, and I've been looking for you, too!
I admit, I was a little nervous on the car ride to meet my foster family, but I was mostly excited to start my new life! Being in the car still makes me a little anxious, but I know we need to go places sometimes, so I don't make a fuss getting in. I think I just need more practice on car rides to feel better about the whole thing.
My foster family has been waiting and waiting for me to do something naughty, but I just don't know how to do any of that stuff! Someone taught me some very good manners before MLRR rescued me; I sleep all night long on my foster mommy's floor, take treats nicely, and know how to "Sit", "Come" and "Leave it". I would like to be on the couch if that's okay with you, but I'll understand if you say that's not ok. I'm told that I'm amazing because I haven't had any accidents in the house (hey, I'm a grown-up guy, I know that belongs outside!).
Speaking of outside, I really love taking walks, relaxing on the deck and playing with tennis balls in the yard. Now that I've been taking some medicine for my achy hips I can run and jump a little, and that makes me happy! I like to hang out on the porch and watch the neighborhood with my foster papa.
I like meeting kids when I'm walking because they pet me and tell me how cute and soft I am! I never jump on folks because that would be rude. I sure do like being with the people when they're watching TV or cooking dinner or doing their work from home. I mainly just lay down, get comfy, and patiently wait for them to remember how awesome I am. I haven't been left alone in the house yet, but I feel like I could get okay with that, as long as you're patient with me while I get used to it.
Good food, luxurious baths and lots of love have helped me look beautiful and feel like my real self. I'll need to see a dog dentist in a few months, because a few of my teeth don't look so good. This doesn't stop me from enjoying the yummy milk bones and my food, though, and it sure doesn't take away from my good looks, either!
Now that you've learned all about me, can we agree that you've lived without me long enough? I've got so much love to give, and I can't wait to meet you so you can discover even more reasons to fall in love with me!
